Matthew Permuy, AMFT

Aim Psych Associate Therapist

Beginning the therapy process can seem overwhelming.  Finding a therapist with whom you can build a trusting rapport with, is essential.  I provide clients with a safe, secure environment that enables clients to share their utmost intimate and vulnerable parts of themselves.

I lean towards applying a more holistic and mindfulness based cognitive approach to therapy, validating what my clients have learned about themselves and how they would like to make positive changes through the therapy process.  Depending on my client's individual needs, I tailor a treatment plan that is co-constructed with my clients.  This creates both rapport and sets objectives towards symptom reduction.

Matt Permuy is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working in West Hollywood, CA under the clinical supervision of Andrew Merrell, LMFT.
